We were high school sweethearts! Storm left for rookie ball in Bluefield WV for the Baltimore Orioles right after we graduated from high school!! He then played 1A ball in Miami and after that we were married! Our next assignment was 2A ball in Charlotte NC!! After major surgery that next spring I hopped in the truck and rode to Rochester NY for AAA ball! It was so cold for these FL kids!! We spent three weeks in AAA and Storm was called up to the big leagues with the Baltimore Orioles! We were 20!
We were blessed to spend 13 years in MLB with 5 teams and many great memories and friends. Storm received 2 WSChamp and 1 ALChamp. We had three precious babes during those years. Zachary Storm (1985/Baltimore) ; Caleb Michael (1988/Jacksonville); Erin Angeline (1989/Oakland). During the retirement years, spent watching the kids grow up, we had the honor of being guardians to Stephanie and Justin. Now the kids are all grown, married, some making us grandparents! We have 2 GRANDBABES and 1 on the way!!
We have returned to baseball! Storm began coaching Milb with the Rangers and is now with the Cubs as a pitching coach! We are enjoying the adventure together!
